Benefits of Sovran

  • Sovran fungicide provides excellent scab protection, actually preventing spore germination on the foliage and the fruit.
  • Only Sovran works with a unique surface-systemic activity that provides complete coverage of the leaf's surface, even where it's not sprayed.
  • Sovran protection has sticking power, so it won't wash off with normal dew or rain.
  • Sovran gives you 7-14 day preventative control.
  • Dry flowable formulation dissolves easily for convenient handling.
  • Fungal isolates with acquired resistance to group 11 fungicides may eventually dominate the fungal population if group 11 fungicides are used predominantly and repeatedly in the same field in successive years.  This may result in reduction of disease control by Sovran fungicide or other group 11 fungicides.

  • BASF recommends making no more than 2 sequential applications of Sovran fungicide.
  • After your second application of Sovran, switch to a fungicide with a different mode of action.
  • Thereafter, Sovran can be sprayed for a maximum of two more applications.

Precautions

  • Use care when applying Sovran to prevent contact with these varieties and other non-target plants.
