BASF receives registration for Veltyma Fungicide with new active ingredient Revysol
BASF Canada Agricultural Solutions has received registration from Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) for Veltyma Fungicide. Veltyma contains the unique active ingredient Revysol® which is the first and only Isopropanol-Azole, a unique chemistry discovered and developed by BASF, that provides broader, stronger, and longer control against various diseases on multiple crops. Veltyma will be available for purchase in the 2022 growing season.

BASF receives Zidua SC herbicide label expansion for use on potatoes

BASF Canada Agricultural Solutions (BASF) has received registration for the label expansion of Zidua® SC on potatoes. This label expansion adds to the use application of Zidua SC which includes providing activity on key annual grasses and broadleaf weeds for several crops, including chickpeas, field corn, dry field peas, lentils and soybeans.

BASF receives Health Canada PMRA registration for Merivon fungicide

BASF Canada Agricultural Solutions (BASF) has received registration for Merivon® fungicide from Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA). Merivon fungicide harnesses the power of two active ingredients, Xemium® (fluxapyroxad) and AgCelence® (pyraclostrobin) to address key diseases like black rot and bitter rot in apples, and Septoria leaf spot and botrytis gray mold in blueberries.
