A safe farm is a happy farm

The BASF Safety Scouts program aims to help engage young children in a fun and interactive way by inviting them to take on the important role of Safety Scout and act as safety ambassadors on their family’s farm.

By engaging children in farm safety today, we can help shape a safer, brighter tomorrow for Canadian agriculture.

Two thousand BASF Safety Scout kits will be available this season free of charge to farm families across Canada while supplies last.

The BASF Safety Scouts program is designed to help children better engage in learning about farm safety. The kit includes:

  • An adjustable child-sized safety vest (CSA 296-15 compliant)
  • A customizable name badge
  • Farm safety-themed activity and colouring sheets
  • A BASF Safety Scouts reward sticker
  • An official BASF Safety Scouts membership certificate

Thank you so much for your interest in the BASF Safety Scouts program. The community’s response to the program has again been incredible!

Please speak to your AgSolutions team member to receive one of the few remaining kits for the 2022 season. We’ll update this page with information regarding the launch of the 2023 BASF Safety Scouts program registration in early 2023.
