Pre-plant burndown and suppression of secondary weed flushes - cereals

Pre-plant or pre-emergent burndown - corn

Eragon LQ at 146 - 292 ml/ha may be tank mixed with glyphosate and applied to corn prior to planting or after planting prior to crop emergence. Use 292 ml/ha for extended residual control of continual flushing weeds such as lamb’s-quarters, redroot pigweed and common ragweed.

Eragon LQ plus glyphosate will provide control (burndown) of the following emerged broadleaf weeds in addition to those controlled by glyphosate.

Eragon LQ is rainfast and will be limited by the type of glyphosate used. Follow the glyphosate manufacturer’s recommendation for rainfast guidelines.

Pre-plant/Pre-emergence

• Always add Merge^® adjuvant.
• Use a water volume of 40 - 80 L/ac (10 - 20 gal/ac).
• If weeds are large or densities are high, use a higher water volume of 80 L/ac (20 gal/ac).

Harvest aid and desiccant

• Use a water volume of 80 L/ac (20 gal/ac).
• Ground application only.

Pre-harvest weed management in cereals

• Use a water volume of 40 - 80 L/ac (10 - 20 gal/ac).
• Ground application only.

One case of Eragon LQ herbicide will treat 40 to 160 acres per case, depending on rate used.

All applications

Water volume

^{1 Do not use rates higher than 73 ml/ha or crop injury may result. For use in combination with glyphosate for pre-plant application only. Refer to the Crop Specific Recommendations section of the label for additional details. Some soybeans cultivars may be more sensitive to saflufenacil and injury might occur.

Refer to the Crop Specific Recommendations section of the label for additional details. Some sweet corn hybrids may be more sensitive to saflufenacil and injury might occur.

Pre-harvest weed control

One case of Eragon LQ herbicide will treat 80 acres stand-alone or 160 acres when tank mixed with glyphosate, for wheat, barley (spring and winter) and triticale.

Water volume

^{5 Merge adjuvant is required and is not included with Eragon LQ herbicide.
6 Glyphosate is not included in the case.}

1. Fill clean spray tank 1/2 full of clean water and start agitation.

2. Using a calibrated measuring device, add the correct amount of Eragon LQ. Continue to agitate.

3. If tank mix is being applied, add the correct amount of glyphosate while continuing agitation.

4. If recommended, add the correct amount of Merge adjuvant to the tank last.

5. Continue agitation while adding the remaining amount of water.

6. Continue agitation or run the by-pass system.

1 year after application

All crops, 1 year after a spring, pre-plant or pre-emergent application.

Pre-harvest interval

60 days for all pre-plant and pre-emergent applications.

In the spring following a fall application (harvest aid or pre-harvest weed management application)
