  • Minimum 3.0 GPA, recent or upcoming graduate of business or agriculture undergrad program
  • Geographically mobile, willing to relocate and travel as required by the program

Technical and Research PDP

Leveraging your agronomy technical skills (M.Sc. required), you will participate in two 12-month rotations in our technical/research teams. One will be a 12-month assignment at a BASF research farm location in Canada. The other will be part of our Technical Services, managing commercial trials and becoming a BASF product expert by providing technical positioning and support to both internal and external customers. This role interacts with biology, sales representatives and account managers within the given territory. You will also investigate and utilize data analysis to provide strategic direction to meet sales objectives. 

 

Program start dates are flexible and will depend on final defense of thesis or dissertation. Final placement is highly dependent on business need. 

Sales and Marketing PDP

This program consists of two 12-month rotations in Marketing and then Sales with the objective to give you opportunity to learn, explore and succeed. You will be given strategic assignments within the AP Canada Marketing or Customer Solutions teams where you will be focused on marketing operations, product marketing, product launches, project management and market research. Your sales rotation will be anywhere across Canada aimed at providing you with opportunities to work with our sales force and enhancing your cropping system knowledge. 

 

You’ll have the opportunity to participate in development opportunities, including skill development, workshops, roundtables with executives and mentorships. As a Sales and Marketing Professional Development Program participant, you’ll benefit from a solid foundation in marketing, sales and agronomic skills and depart the program prepared to transition into a challenging full-time role with our Canadian sales team.

 

Typical start dates are in April of each year, but some flexibility may apply for individual scenarios. Final placement after program completion is dependent on business need.
