The BASF Agriculture Summer Opportunities program will do more than build your resume, it will also help you discover your potential. Corine

Meet Corine, a previous summer student that we had the pleasure of connecting with. This was Corine’s second summer with BASF as a Summer Sales Intern in Southwestern Ontario. Corine had just finished her third year of the Food and Agricultural Business Co-op program at the University of Guelph and was working towards being in a customer facing role in Agri-lending.

Tessa

Tessa has been a summer intern at BASF for three seasons in Alberta. She took part in our summer intern program most recently in the Sales team. Prior to her experiences at BASF, Tessa has worked as a farm hand, as well as with athletes in her community and in Calgary. Tessa will graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In 2023, Tessa won the BASF Canada Top Intern award for all of her contributions during her season.

Donovan

Meet Don, one of our recent summer associates. Don completed his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Lethbridge and joined the BASF team to work in the Canola Seed Production Program as an Agronomist Summer Associate.

In order to apply for the BASF Agriculture Summer Opportunities program, students must be currently enrolled and taking classes at an accredited program or institution and have completed at least one year of study.

  • Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • First year students may apply during their first semester of school to participate after their second semester
  • Graduate students may apply if currently enrolled in school
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
